These poems are very personal and I could definitely relate to a lot of them. I call up a lot of people can relate to her poetry and that's probably why she'southward got a loftier rating on hither. Another expert matter near her poems are that most of them have such a beautiful rhythm. I know poetry doesn't have to follow whatever rules when it comes to rhythm merely I Dear poems that accept a lovely menses. A lot of mod poetry that I read lacks whatever sort of enjoyable rhythm but these poems were very satisfying to read. She definitely has a fashion with words and she is definitely extremely talented so I would recommend this volume and I volition be reading book two and iii eventually.

So people never came so close,
That I may disappoint,
I'd sit and sentry in silence,
Equally the world would laissez passer me by,
Wondering how far I'd fall,
If I ever tried to fly,..."

You had failed to see your ain."

In names of people who said they cared,
But didn't stick around,..."

Simply it's funny how the hole in mine,

At the opportunities that I missed,
And realise I never truly lived,
All I did was just exist."

Every bit you go on your collapse downward,

But yous know that you'd give annihilation,
To stand up up on your feet again,
Sadness is that feeling,
When the falling doesn't end,

Overall, I still enjoyed the experience greatly, especially the starting time and terminate, only I remember my current psyche express my connexion to her words, despite them being cute and honest (in her eyes).

In the terminate, I decided to give this volume five stars, because Erin Hanson opened poetry upwards to me in a new way, and the flow of her poems... it's ridiculous how many times I just wrote, "I dear this so much" in the margins. I wanted to annotate it, equally I usually do, but her words get out no gaps in understanding. Their pregnant is and then clear. Their impact so refined. She is in control of your heart. Personally, I remember she deserves to be in the rankings of Rupi Kaur, because I find then much more depth and thought in her writing. Possibly Milk and Honey just wasn't meant for me, just this is probably my favorite mod poetry book right now. Bending the Universe is also a good 1.

I'll probably try to terminate the series, considering I hear the side by side two are most optimistic. I am definitely interested in seeing her growth every bit a person, and I call back if I saw the overarching development of her graphic symbol, I would relate to these poems much more.

My favorite poems from Reverie are "Arrow", "Adventure", "Be", "Easily and Feet", "A Poem for Society", "Welcome to Society", "Sadness", "Talent", "This", and "Okay". Conspicuously, there are a lot I liked. If y'all're interested in hearing the brilliance of Erin Hanson, simply look upwards her Tumblr, or look on Google Images. A few from the book are also online. Highly recommend checking her out, and supporting her career.
